Back in 2010, Google debuted Google Instant, a set of functionality updates designed to speed up the search process by providing suggestions and results in real-time as a user searches. Since its implementation, suggested searches have had a a growing influence on the way people structure their queries by pre-populating the search box with the most popular related queries. This process has revealed common insecurities, influenced geopolitics and provided a distinct business advantage for companies that are included in Google autocomplete suggestions.
We thought it would be intriguing to look at SEO in its smallest form, a single letter search, and examine the companies that Google suggests after typing each letter in the alphabet.
